Description:

Castrol Duratec M is a mineral based SAE 40 medium ash gas engine lubricant.

Application:

Duratec M is for use in both spark ignition and dual-fuel gas engines. It is  formulated for applications where the OEM requires a medium ash product.
The detergent/dispersant additive system has been specifically designed to control deposit formation. Duratec M also has improved resistance to oxidation and nitration which ensures a longer oil service life. It also offers excellent corrosion control and TBN retention.

Advantages:

  • Higher ash content overcomes valve recession problems.
  • High resistance to combustion chamber deposit formation means cleaner running engines.
  • High resistance to oxidation and nitration leads to longer oil life and extends drain intervals. This reduces maintenance costs and down time.
