Description  -

Glaceol RX 35 / 65 is an ethylene glycol based fluid that provides maintenance-free protection against freezing and boiling but also against corrosion. Extended coolant life, often for the whole life of the engine or vehicle, is obtained through the use of virtually non-depleting corrosion inhibitors.

Glaceol RX 35 / 65 mixed with the appropriate amount of water – is used as a cooling and heat transferring fluid in combustion engines. The heat of the internal combustion is transferred via the fluid to the radiator where the mixture is cooled by means of airflow.In accordance with French Decree No. 95-326 of 20th March 1995 concerning the distribution of certain substances containing monoethylene glycol, Glaceol RX 35 / 65 contains an additive to give it a bitter taste as a guarantee against accidental ingestion by children or users.Glaceol RX 35 / 65 provides long-life protection against all forms of corrosion by the use of optimized and patented organic corrosion inhibitors. Excellent and lasting high temperature corrosion protection is provided for the aluminum heat transfer surfaces contained in modern engines.

Very long duration antifreeze, semiorganic additivation, recommended for all cooling systems of combustion engines in cars, vans, trucks, buses, constructing machines and agricultural tractors. Glacelf Plus provides an effective solution to the problems of corrosion affecting all materials used in cooling circuits.The additives in Glacelf Plus give the coolant:A reserve of alkalinity (to neutralise the acids resulting from the combustion gases)Resistance to foaming (mainly instability of the foam that might form)
Compatibility with hard water (maximum 40°F).The coolant fluids obtained by diluting Glaceol Plus are also inert to elastomeric seals and paints.

Total GLACELF PLUS - antifreeze with a very long service life based on monoethylene glycol and inorganic corrosion inhibitor. Also contains an organic inhibitor, thus, it is a product of hybrid technology. When mixed with an appropriate amount of water, it turns into a coolant recommended for cooling systems of all internal combustion engines of cars, vans and trucks, construction and agricultural equipment.According to French Decree No. 95-326 of March 20, 1995, concerning the list of main products containing monoethylene glycol, Total GLACELF PLUS antifreeze contains additives that give it a bitter taste and prevent accidental ingestion by children or adults.

Application  -

• Antifreeze Total GLACELF PLUS is diluted with demineralized water (hardness <8 a="" and="" be="" can="" coolant="" effectively="" engine="" freezing="" from="" nbsp="" o:p="" or="" overheating="" prepare="" protects="" round.="" that="" the="" to="" used="" which="" year="">

To obtain a perfectly mixed coolant, it is recommended to mechanically mix the antifreeze with water. Frost protection depends on the ratio of antifreeze and water.

The minimum recommended concentration of Total GLASELF PLUS is 30%. Maximum protection against freezing is obtained at a concentration of 68%. It is not recommended to use Total GLASELF PLUS in a concentration over 70%. 

GLASELF PLUS retains its protective properties: up to 250000 km (3000 hours) when used in trucks; up to 100,000 km (800 hours) when used in passenger cars. 

It is recommended to replace the antifreeze every 3 years or on reaching the mileage above. 

All antifreeze and monoethylene glycol based coolants are special industrial waste and must be disposed of at authorized locations.
